Marbled Dagger Earrings

Did you know that you can sand polymer clay after it's cured? You can! It's a time-consuming and fingerprint-reducing endeavor. However, this pair of earrings made the effort totally worth it.

These earrings are made with a combination of marshmallow white, antique gold, slate grey, and shimmery translucent. When translucent clay is blended and incorporated with other colors, it creates unique depth to a piece that can be brought out through sanding! Bonus: sanding also creates a buttery smooth texture that is *chef's kiss* 

When these earrings are held up to a light source, hints of light peek through the translucent areas. It's like a secret surprise that only you and I know about until you realize how awesome it is and then you tell every single person you can when they make a comment about your cool earrings. No? Just me?
